What began as casual conversation with Jessica Whitehead (years ago) —— about Harlan and Anna Hubbard’s life on a shantyboat, their house at Payne Hollow, and the music they played together —— will take shape as a new piano trio premiering February 25th at the Filson Historical Society with violinist Heather Thomas and cellist Cecilia Huerta-Lauf of NouLou Chamber Players, and pianist Sebastian Chang.
Jessica will present on her new biography about Harlan Hubbard, followed by the premiere of the new trio.
